Stay connected to your local community and services

The county’s Talk Community Hubs are a great way to help you stay better connected with the services, groups and activities taking place in your local community, which can help you stay independent, happy and healthy for longer.

They can help…

  • Bring people together, build friendships and strengthen communities

  • People support one another through knowledge of local and countywide services, groups and activities

  • People access information, advice and activities to support their wellbeing and independence, with assistance from a friendly volunteer

There are currently eight Talk Community Hubs across Herefordshire, which are run by local community groups or Herefordshire Council’s Community Broker Team.  There’s no need to book, simply drop in to your nearest hub and meet the friendly volunteers or teams.

They’re on hand to help you find a wide range of information, from staying healthy and looking after someone to making adaptions to your home and looking after your money, along with services, groups and activities you may be interested in attending, to help you remain well and independent.
